Yahoo! Video Games: Hindsight is always 20/20...the game is out the door. What do you wish you'd done differently?

Rich Farrelly: I don't think it's a matter of what we could have done differently. Considering the amount of time we had, we managed to deliver on our original design. But as developers our games are never really finished, there is always one more thing we would have liked to add, but if we catered to our whims games would never ship.

YVG: Is there anything you guys completely stressed over that people never noticed? Or maybe were surprised by something people really latched onto, that you thought at the time was no big deal?

RF: We were pleasantly surprised at how many people noticed and appreciated the ability to throw back enemy grenades.

COD3 was developed for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2 and Xbox...if given the chance to do it again, would you still develop for all five? If not, why? Our goal is to design a great game first and foremost to ensure that all platforms have the same starting point, after that it's much easier to tailor the experience to each individual machine. As far as for precise plans, time will tell.

YVG: COD3's multiplayer has been received favorably...what makes it so special?

RF: COD3 Multiplayer really has excelled in bringing the PC multiplayer experience that was present in Call of Duty: United offensive and translated onto the consoles: 24 players, classes, ranks, vehicle combat and numerous different game modes add up to a very robust multiplayer experience. For our multiplayer team, War Mode is particularly fun. It's a mode that rallies players around common points in the game, so you've always got concentrated action.
