Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller [Xbox]

A few new details have slipped regarding Hitmaker's Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller, coming this June to Xbox. Unlike the previous two Crazy Taxis, which featured two cities, High Roller will feature three different cities to drive in. The first, as we've said before, is called Glitter Oasis. The other two are remakes of cities from the previous Crazy Taxis. The San Fransisco-style city from the original Crazy Taxi, called West Coast in this version, and Small Apple from Crazy Taxi 2. Here's just a little bit about each of them:

Glitter Oasis Glitter Oasis is similar to Las Vegas and will feature plenty of bright lights and pretty women. The Crazy Hop ability introduced in Crazy Taxi 2 is back and will be a prominent feature in the new iteration. Glitter Oasis takes on three American landmarks: The Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and Red Rock Canyon. Glitter Oasis also includes both day and nighttime driving, to help provide a visual feast. Xbox does some amazing lighting effects and we can expect nothing short of a breathtaking Las Vegas from Crazy Taxi 3. Of course, no taxi is complete without some customers. Here's a few of the folks you'll be picking up:

• Boxers
• Bunny mascots
• Concert musicians
• Slutty waitresses
• Can-Canning showgirls

West Coast While at first class this appears to be the same old course from the original, things have changed quite a bit. The city has been redisigned and retooled with updated graphics, new locations and customers, and plenty of new hidden areas. Because you can now use the Crazy Hop to get elevation, there will be all new goodies to discover. The four original cabbies will be available to play. Has there ever been a better cabbie than B.D. Joe? No. Don't expect to just encounter the old cast of passengers, though. Here's some of the new ones ready to shut up and move their butt:

• Skateboarders
• Musclemen
• Band geeks
• Baseball players
• Female volleyball team

Small Apple level It's unclear what upgrades (outside of graphics) this level will receive. Even the cast of crazy customers is uncertain at this point. We'll let you know the minute we've pulled this nugget from Hitmaker's clutches.

Expect a lot more on Crazy Taxi in the near future. Until then, enjoy these teeny-tiny screens.
