We've been spending a considerable amount of time this week going into just how deep EA's Boom Blox create mode is, and we'd be lying if we told you it's been all work, no play while doing it. Sure, Boom Blox allows for some really expansive create and edit modes, and they're a ton of fun, but every once in a while you just need to kick back with a few friends, boot up the game, and smash some blocks. Local multiplayer is where Boom Blox shines – it proved it when we first went hands-on with the game, again when we attended the Nintendo Media Summit a few weeks back, and it continues now that we've got the game in the office – so why not take some time to just enjoy the game, and show you how a few rounds of Boom Blox really feels. You'll find it's a lot deeper, and far more strategic than you'd think.

In our video feature below, Nintendo Team members Matt Casamassina and Mark Bozon go head-to-head in three different multiplayer modes in Boom Blox. You'll see Boom Blox strategy in action, the result of weak throws, a few of the interesting multiplayer arenas in the game, and multiple modes and block types in action.

Enjoy.
