Take a Street Fighter-type fighter and throw it into a blender with a Wiimote-powered rhythm game, and you'll wind up with - well, if you try it in real life you'll end up with a mess and a broken blender, but in the world of videogame mashups you wind up with Battle of the Bands, a new Wii game that's hitting streets this week. Aaron Loeb, the game's executive producer at THQ, tells us all about its unusual concept in our exclusive interview.

Battle of the Band's soundtrack includes cover versions of 30 favorite tracks, including Def Leppard's "Photograph", "Insane in the Membrane" by the inimitable Cypress Hill, and that "Man of Constant Sorrow" song from that O Brother Where Art Thou album that was everywhere a few years ago. Well, they're probably someone's favorite. Check out the video for full details.
