Just as scary, but we've seen it all before.

Before the Tokyo Game Show opened its doors to the public today the press was let in a half hour early to sprint to their top priority destinations. For me, that just so happened to be Silent Hill Origins (Silent Hill Zero in Japan). Konami had an elevated viewing area that sat about ten feet over the rest of the show floor, and while the landscape was nice - it was quite awe-inspiring to see the flocks of Japanese gamers - the build of Silent Hill Origins that was on display was old news. We've already written an extremely detailed preview on the first section of the game and our play session at TGS was cut off right around the same time as our previous hands-on. That's not to say that the game wasn't still impressively spooky, carrying the same fog-laden environments that feature tons of graphical nuances that you just don't see in most PlayStation 2 games, much less games on the PSP. Rest assured, when there is something new to report on Silent Hill Origins, IGN will be the first to let you know about it.
