Unlockable: Extra Options
You must hold down R1 on gameoptions.
Unlockable: Shin Akuma in Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold
You must select Akuma and Press Start 5 times
Unlockable: Extra Chun Li
You must down START On Chun Li for 5 Seconds.
Unlockable: Ex Dhalsim
Select Dhalsim, hold down Start and enter LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, UP and enter any Button.
Unlockable: Extra Chun Li
You must hold START on CHUN LI for 5 Seconds.
Hint - Secret Fighting Styles
Unverified. When playing Hyper Street Fighter Alpha, you can unlock four secret fighting styles (S-ISM's) not included in any of the Alpha Series games.
When selecting a character choose the Alpha3 version and "Normal, Mazi, Saikyo, and Classic" will appear. To choose an "S-ISM" (or secret style), move the cursor to one of the four options. Press and hold START, tap left or right once to make highlight cursor disappear and then select it.
Normal S-ism: Characters adopt the play mechanics of the Darkstalkers game engines. Advancing guard, and chain combos included.
Mazi S-ism: Characters operate much like Street Fighter III. Parries and the ability to flow into super combos from special moves.
Saikyo S-ism: Increase damage capability of normal moves and lose ability to perform super combos. Chain combo system from Street Fighter II enabled.
Classic S-ism: Seemingly random mode giving characters abilities they were gifted with in other Capcom games. For example: Classic S-ism Ken plays a lot like his Versus series incarnations. Aerial Hadou-ken and super-powered Shoryu-ken. Same with Sakura. Experiment with all characters.
S-ism characters are not playable in other versions of Street Fighter Alpha. Exclusive to Hyper Street Fighter Alpha.
Unlockable: Super Street Fighter 2 Ryu
You must press start on Ryu when you select him.
Unlockable: Super Street Fight 2 Ken
You must press start on Ken when you select him.
Unlockable: Shadaloo Mode
When you're selecting a style in Street Fighter Alpha 3 Arrange mode, select Classic and hold Start. The cursor will dissapear, then enter any button.
Unlockable: Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
You must beat all of Street Fighter Alpha 3 and save. Then go to the menu, highlight Street Fighter Alpha 3, hold down select, and enter any button.
Unlockable: Hyper Street Fighter Alpha
You must beat Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, Street Fighter Alpha3, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, and Pocket Fighter. Then save. At the menu, highlight Street Fighter Alpha, hold down select and enter any button.
Unlockable: Super Street Fighter 2 Dhalsim
You must enter start on Dhalsim then selecting him.
Unlockable: Super Street Fighter 2 Chun-Li
Select Chun-Li and press start twice.
Unlockable: Super Street Fighter 2 Bison
You enter start when selecting Bison.
Unlockable: Colors
Highlighting Sakura and enter start five.
Unlockable: Street Fighter ZERO Vega
At the random box and hold down START and enter DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, LEFT, DOWN, LEFT, LP+HP.
Unlockable: Color Edit Mode
You must hold down R1 on DISPLAY ADJUST.
Unlockable: Evil Ryu
You must enter START at the RYU selection 2 times.
Unlocable: Shin Vega
Select Vega , then enter DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, and any button.
Unlockable: Shin Gouki
You must hold START 5 seconds on GOUKI.
Unlockable: Akuma & Dan
At the character selection screen to choose Dan press right from Ken and to choose Akuma press left from Ryu.
