Dec 1, 2005

Synopsis

The Xbox 360 is here! Zoe and Raymond got to chat with a bunch of gamers from New York City who waited in line for hours on a cold and rainy night just to be one of the first people to pick up the system. The first guy in line was there for 29 hours! Next up, Zoe and Raymond get the inside scoop on Mario's first foray on the soccer pitch. Super Mario Strikers is looking like a fabulous party game, but what sinister elements lurk beneath its advanced AI? To wrap things up, Ruby and Raymond head to San Diego to hang out with a WWE Superstar and a WWE Diva as they check out WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2006.

Part One: Xbox 360 Midnight Madness

Zoe and Raymond hit up the streets of New York City for the Xbox 360 midnight launch. It was a cold and rainy night, but Reset's dynamic duo toughed it out. What kinds of people were waiting in line? What launch games were the most popular? Why did that one guy paint his face all funny? And why were Colin Farrell and Usher there? Learn the answers to these questions and more by watching Reset's 360 launch piece.

Part Two: Mario and Friends Hit the Pitch

Reset goes international! Well, Canada anyway. Zoe and Raymond visit Next Level Games to check out Super Mario Strikers for the GameCube. Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and the gang have proved themselves in golf, tennis, and baseball, but are they ready for soccer? You'll also get insights on what it's like being the first Western developer to work on a Mario sports title and learn how the game's artificial intelligence is suspiciously like the one in the Terminator movies.

Part Three: Laying the Smack Down with the WWE

Ruby and Raymond hit up San Diego for WWE Taboo Tuesday. While they were there, Raymond got to talk with WWE Superstar (and hardcore gamer) Shelton Benjamin while Ruby spent some time with WWE Diva Candice Michelle. The team also got more information on the excellent WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2006. From wrestling gods to babes to games, this one has it all!
