As gamers across the country emerge from their week-long Grand Theft Auto IV binge bleary-eyed and slightly shaky, it's time for them to start looking for their next hit. They'll find the pickings down the aisles of their local game emporium even slimmer than they are themselves, having forgone food for the last week in order to make more GTA time.
All platforms see the release of the game of the new Narnia movie. Will it be any good? Your guess is as good as ours, but given that the last Narnia game was pretty mediocre, we're not holding out much hope. Luckily, there's more than that on the calendar. Read on to find out which of this week's releases might stir you from your post-GTA haze.
Alicia's a busy woman. Running a top-class fashion boutique isn't an easy job, especially when grandma's looking over your shoulder as you hopelessly deal with waiting customers. As if that wasn't enough work, Alicia also has to contend with picky VIPs, clean grubby stations, upgrade her facilities, and meet daily sales goals. Sounds entirely too much like hard work to us, but hey, if you're looking for polished time-management gaming, Posh Boutique is a class act.

Like many other crusty, wizened gamers, we retain all kinds of happy memories from the great adventure game Myst, originally released way back in 1993 and ported to just about every system under the sun. Check it out this week.

"I keep hitting myself in the groin with the nunchuk cord," said one anonymous Yahoo! staffer after playing this ski sim for a few hours. If that hasn't put you off, consider that We Ski is the first game to support Wii Fit's Balance Board peripheral, even though that particular slab of weight-loss happiness isn't due in stores until next week. But heed our advice: if you're planning to hit the virtual slopes this week, a cup might be in order, gents.
