AU: Pok¿maniacs Unite

Hoo-ray! A glorious day for Pok¿maniacs Australia-wide! Nintendo Australia has just announced that Pok¿mon Diamond and Pearl Versions will arrive in Australia June 21st, for AU$69.95.

Not to let a momentous occasion such as this slip by unnoticed, NOAus is also giving Pok¿mon fans a chance to unite in the upcoming Nintendo DS Connection Tour '07. Things kick off on June 30, travelling across the country through to July 21.

More than 5 million copies of the game have been sold in Japan since release, and to date, more than 155 million copies of Pok¿mon games have sold worldwide. Holy cow.

So what's on the cards, then?

Activities:

Are you ready for the new Challenges in Pok¿mon Diamond and Pok¿mon Pearl? Test your skills against other Trainers in our video game challenges! The Pok¿mon Battle Challenge will see Trainers battle it out 1-on-1 using their own Pok¿mon Diamond or Pok¿mon Pearl game.

Register early on Tour days, as places are limited.

Each stop on the tour will become a Pok¿mon fan's paradise with interactive game play stations showing off the brand new games, as well as other brand new Nintendo DS games. Plus there will be a Pok¿mon Trading Card Game play area, and a special 'Touch! Generations' area - for everyone to enjoy!

Brush up on your Pok¿mon knowledge, as Pok¿mon Trivia games will be played during the Events. There will be heaps of giveaways as well!

Don't forget to bring your Nintendo DS and multiplayer Nintendo DS games (such as Mario Kart DS, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Nintendogs and Diddy Kong Racing DS) to play multiplayer games with other fans.
