Adriano Covers Winning Eleven

Konami announced today that Brazilian star player -- and current Inter Milan striker -- Adriano Leite Ribeiro will serve as cover athlete for Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007.

Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1982 (that's right, folks -- he's younger than a lot of you), Adriano started with Brazilian league club Flamengo before joining Italy's Inter Milan in 2002. With the Brazilian international team Adriano was the leading scorer in the 2004 Copa America and won the Golden Ball Award for his five goals in the 2005 Confederations Cup.

Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 is slated to arrive early next year for PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, PSP, Nintendo DS, and the PC.
