
Everybody loves playing god, even in the smallest fashions, dolling out when, what and how people can do things. Adults controlling children; people with their pets; gamers playing The Sims.
From creator Will Wright, The Sims has gone on to become the single biggest franchise in PC gaming history, and it's not even had a true sequel. Until now, that is.
The Sims 2 ships next week to retailers everywhere, which is only a temporary stop-gap between Maxis/EA and people's hard drives. And by people, we mean everyone on the face of the planet with any sort of machine faster than a TI-80 calculator.
