Spore [PC]

Talk about wrapping things up at the last minute. With Spore hitting shelves in North America this weekend (it arrives in Europe on Friday and is already available in Australia, read the IGN AU review, we wrap up our look at the five major stages with Spore by checking out the last and largest part of the game, Space Stage.

Space Stage is a bit like Star Trek, in that you hop aboard a spacecraft and your mission is to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, and to boldly go where none of your creature has gone before. It's a wide-open galaxy out there, and you can romp around in it and do all sorts of things, from playing god with primitive species, pursuing missions for neighboring empires, or getting in some good old fashioned space combat.
