Speaking to a Ubisoft representative at the recent London leg of the Eurogamer Expo, Connected Consoles has confirmed that there are no plans for a playable demo of Assassin's Creed II.
Whilst playing a level of the game at today's Eurogamer Expo, a Ubisoft representative told Connected Consoles that the game will not be getting a demo. This time however, this could be a safer decision for Ubi to choose as Assassins Creed II has been highly improved in most areas.
It's worth noting that the original Assassin's Creed (released in 2007) also did not enjoy a playable demo release before or after the game hit stores.
Bryn says: I hit the Leeds leg of the Eurogamer Expo and played the same demo referred to in the news item. ACII launches for real in a few weeks from now, and while a playable demo may have been a great way to drum up some more excitement, I'm personally not all that bothered.
The Expo demo was a good time so I'm looking forward to seeing what the final verdict on the full game will be. Are you going to snap it up?
