Activision Blizzard and Infinity Ward are keeping quiet about most aspects of the impending Modern Warfare 2 shooter which launches globally next week. However, the Internet's up to its old tricks again, with a rumored final list of the game's multiplayer killstreak rewards leaking its way out.
GamePex reckons that the extreme 25-kill reward is a flippin' tactical nuclear strike, which frankly, seems like a little bit overkill. IW's Robert Bowling was recently quoted (via Kotaku) as saying "Can't confirm nor deny any leaks for #MW2. Official stance is to just wait and discover the awesome yourself on November 10th."
If the list is true (see below) then November 10th will be a day full of terminal radiation poisoning for a lot of n00b tube online players.
3 Kills -- UAV
4 Kills -- Care Package
4 Kills -- Counter UAV
5 Kills -- Sentry Gun
5 Kills -- Predator Missile
6 Kills -- Precision Airstrike
7 Kills -- Strike
7 Kills -- Attack Heli
8 Kills -- Emergency Airdrop
9 Kills -- Pave Low
9 Kills -- Stealth Bomber
11 Kills -- Chopper Gunner
11 Kills -- AC-130
15 Kills -- EMP
25 Kills -- Tactical Nuke
Bryn says: Is a tac-nuke taking it too far? Perhaps, but how many players are going to be good enough to reach that 25-kill mark? I think my personal best in Call of Duty 4 was 20, which to be fair, was pretty much a fluke. Bring it on!
