PlayStation 3 owners trying to play online co-op in 2K's Borderlands have been met with several errors.
Players seem to be having trouble locating friends online through their PS3 friends list who are signed into the game. "The issue I and it seems many others are having is that active online friends who are already in the Borderlands main menu screen are not showing up on the friends list for invite," a member wrote on Gearbox's official forums.
Other users have been reporting waits as high has 30 minutes to find and play public game.
But have no fear, the developer is aware of the problem and assured everyone that a fix will be on the way.
"We've identified the problem and are working on a fix," a Software Engineer Scott Velasquez wrote. "Believe it or not, the friends feature was heavily tested by Gearbox and 2K. However, this particular issue we found could have never manifested itself in our or 2K's test environments."
"We'll find out very soon if the issue exists for the PS3 International versions of the Borderlands. If it does, we'll hopefully have a fix implemented before it affects those customers," he added.
Any readers out there experience similar issues?
