World of Goo, Priced by You

For its one-year anniversary, World of Goo costs as much as you say.

With the one-year anniversary of 2D Boy's excellent construction game World of Goo comes the Radiohead special: PC, Mac or Linux gamers can buy the game for whatever price they choose (via Kotaku). The deal runs through October 19th, which is good because as of this writing both worldofgoo.com and 2dboy.com are down, probably from all the traffic they're getting. World of Goo normally runs for $20, so with a you-name-it price tag the game could be yours for as little as a penny. Though it may be tempting to enter $.01 into the buy-now field, we humbly suggest that you should drop at least a Washington on the download.

Tyler says: I've heard nothing but good things about this game, so you can bet that as soon as the site's back up I'll commence my download. How much will I pay though? I got $5 on it (hey, I just paid rent and games newsing doesn't necessarily bring home the vegetarian bacon). Plus, being Rocktober 13th, it's good to have some low prices spread around this full-but-manageable holiday game season.

Anyone else unexpectedly adding this to today's shopping list?
