Splatterhouse Now Slated for Q3 2010

Quick update on Namco Bandai's Splatterhouse, a next-gen reimaging of the classic side-scrolling action game.

The title is now shipping in Q3 2010 for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, according to the publisher's latest press release. Namco previously announced an 'early 2010' release, but now it looks as though it's not coming until much much later.

No details about why the slippage occurred, or what might be holding the game up. Namco said previously the company was "hard at work" on Splatterhouse and that development was in full swing.
