Fallout 3 DLC for PS3, GotY Edition Detailed

Fallout 3's Game of the Year Edition out in October, PS3 DLC coming next week.

Bethesda announced today that all of the accumulated Fallout 3 DLC will become available for the PlayStation 3 next Thursday. It also detailed the release date and price for the Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition.

According to the press release, PS3 owners will receive an update to Fallout 3 today that brings optimization and trophy support for the DLC. Starting September 24th, the first piece of DLC, Broken Steel, will become available for download followed by Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt on October 1st, and concluding with Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta on the 8th of October.

Meanwhile, the Game of the Year edition of Fallout 3, that will feature all five DLC packs built-in, will be available on October 13th. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the GotY Edition will retail for $59.99 and the Games for Windows version will run $49.99.

Tyler says: I guess if you want the free Premium Theme for your 360 you'd better buy up all the pieces of DLC before the GotY edition is out. And it sucks PS3 owners had to wait so long for the DLC, but at least they weren't able to overdose on Fallout 3 like I did on the 360.
