Next week, LittleBigPlanet is going to get all historical on your ass.

Media Molecule is releasing two history-themed packs to get your level-creatin' mind working overtime on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009. The History Kit will sell for $3.99 and pack a boatload of content influenced by Oriental, Arabic, Egyptian, Gothic, Roman, Celtic, and Native American cultures. Look for four objects, five new materials, 13 decorations, 140 stickers, a sound, a music track, and the Pantheon background. In addition to that pack, the 13th will also bring a History Costume Pack for $2.99 with costumes for Ada Lovelace, Genghis Khan, Boudica, and Mozart.
