Xbox Live Glitch Erases Halo Wars Leaderboards

Looks like it's time to start all over!

Die-hard Halo Wars players may want to stay in bed this morning.

Late last night, a "technical issue" has reportedly caused a glitch that reset the leaderboards for all Halo Wars singleplayer, multiplayer, and Trueskill matches. All matchmaking data was also reset to the original Launch Day status.

Robot Entertainment posted an apology on the developer's official website and hopes to solve the issue soon.

"At this time it's unknown if the data can be restored, resulting in the Halo Wars Leaderboards being reset to original Launch Day status. The Xbox LIVE team is investigating the cause, and they will provide an update to the situation as soon as possible," the message said.

"We at Robot Entertainment apologize for the LIVE technical issue and any frustration players have experienced in having their statistics disappear from the Leaderboards."

If you have friends that are addicted to Halo Wars, I suggest hiding sharp objects. Also, let us know if you've experienced these issues.
