E3 2009: Kingdom Hearts DS Dated

One of the most popular RPG franchises for the PlayStation is headed for the DS this fall. At Nintendo's E3 Media Briefing, Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime announced that Kingdom Hearts 358/2 is arriving on September 29.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 follows the story of Roxas, the main character of the second PS2 game, during his early career with the dreaded Organization XIII. The game will feature new Disney worlds. Kingdom Hearts for the DS will also have a multiplayer element. The RPG trailer at the press conference was accompanied by very familiar Utada Hikaru music, a staple for the Disney-Square mash-up adventure series.
