Resident Evil 5 Versus Mode Delayed in Japan

We've got a mix of good news and bad news for that touchy subject of Resident Evil paid download content.

The bad news: the upcoming Versus Mode has been slapped with a last minute delay over in Japan. Originally set for March 26, the DLC will now arrive on April 9. Capcom did not give a clear reason for the delay.

The good news is that Versus Mode was never given a solid release date outside of Japan, so this doesn't necessarily mean a similar delay in other territories.

In Japan, pricing remains unchanged for the mode. As we previously reported, Japan, for some unclear reason, gets the mode for a bit cheaper, at 160 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 and 250 yen on the PS3.
