World of Warcraft "Game Fuel" Coming

Mountain Dew will be available in WoW flavors.

There's a spot on the official World of Warcraft site today highlighting Blizzard's latest licensing promotion: WoW-inspired Mountain Dew Game Fuel. It'll be release this summer, and come in two colors: Alliance Blue and Horde Red, corresponding to two engineered flavors of "wild fruit" and "citrus cherry." We've truly entered the realm of the hyperreal here.

Miguel says: Learning about WoW-cola immediately makes me think of Gamer Grub, specifically, the sorts of slurries you could concoct if you combine the two. Gamer Grub comes in a plastic can, so as to facilitate conveyance of the contents to your gullet without greasing up your hands. After you knock it back a few times, we could assume there would be space aplenty for WoW juice. Though some of Gamer Grub's proposed flavors might cause one to raise an eyebrow at the prospect (wasabi peas? Pizza?), doesn't high-fructose corn syrup go with anything?

I will propose Blizzard's next move: they should license a harness, sort of like a bit and bridle for humans, that would allow WoW players to fashion feedbags for their Gamer Grub/WoW-cola concoctions. For the Horde!
