Blizzard Offers 10-day Wrath of the Lich King Trial

Gamers who have dropped the WoW habit a while back or those still wondering what all the fuss is about four years after launch day can find out as Blizzard's 10-day free trial program begins. According to information released today on the official Web site, anyone who has ever had an account and owns the full version of the original game and The Burning Crusade expansion pack is eligible to play the new Northred content absolutely free for 10-days.

Wrath of the Lich King, the latest expansion pack for the mega-hit MMO franchise was released to enormous critical acclaim and record-shattering sales figures. Players who take advantage of the 10-day free trial will have full access to all of the Northrend content including the ability to play as a Death Knight, the new class introduced in the expansion. At the conclusion of the trial period, any created Death Knight characters will be frozen and locked and any ordinary characters will be teleported to an area in the Old World. Any items, pets or money a player picks up during this period is theirs to keep.
