Bethesda Releases PC Fallout 3 Editor

Dubbed the Garden of Eden Creation Kit, PC players can now start modding Fallout 3.

Bethesda has officially released its new PC Fallout 3 editing software. Called the G.E.C.K. (Garden of Eden Creation Kit) this suite enables users to create their own custom content in Fallout 3's post apocalyptic setting. Over at the official Bethesda Blog destination, curious parties can start getting to grips with the tools by following a variety of introductory modding tutorials. Bethesda has also launched a wiki and a series of videos to help the process of modding get off the ground.

The G.E.C.K. can be downloaded from the official Fallout 3 website, and it won't be long until file mirrors start appearing all around the Internet. Look to FilePlanet very soon for a mirror.
