GRID DLC Goes Live

Codemaster's arcade racer GRID is receiving its first batch of downloadable content, with the 8 Ball pack introducing a selection of new cars some six months after the game's release.

Heading the pack of new vehicles is the McLaren F1 GTR, and it's joined by a TVR Cerbera, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, Honda S2000, Nissan GT-R, VW Nardo, Pontiac Firebird, with a Volvo C30 chugging along at the rear. Coming to both PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, it's priced at 6.29 GBP (7.99 EUR or 9.99 USD) or 800 Microsoft Points, and is available from today.

GRID impressed upon review back in May, earning an 8.7 largely thanks to the fact that the game makes destroying cars so much fun.
