Mirror's Edge Dated

Coming this November.

DICE, an Electronic Arts label, has announced a November 11 US release date for Mirror's Edge on the PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version is set for release later this winter.

Prior to the game's launch, fans will get a chance to demo the first-person action adventure through either the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo will feature the prologue of the game including the tutorial and a portion of its single-player story-mode.

DICE also announced that starting September 26, gamers who pre-order Mirror's Edge at select retail outlets will get a code that unlocks the Time Trial mode in the demo.

Owen O'Brien, DICE Senior Producer, was very excited about the release date announcement and wrote in a public statement, "Mirror's Edge is bringing something new to the action-adventure genre this holiday by putting the player in the shoes of the hero, seeing what she sees, feeling what she feels." He added, "We wanted to create an entirely new experience, with a different type of heroine and a world that not only looks fresh and new but has unique gameplay."
