GC 2008: Gran Turismo 5 Prologue in Leipzig

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue has been available in the US for a few months now and we obviously enjoyed the game quite a bit. However, many fans of the long-standing and greatly-respect franchise have been patiently awaiting the update that will add vehicle damage to the series for the first time. I was curious if we would see that update at Leipzig, but sadly that's not the case.

Although Gran Turismo 5 took up a surprising amount of space at Sony's booth and was playable in some extremely impressive racing chairs, I was told that there was no vehicle damage added to any of the builds running at the show. Although this is somewhat disappointing, it doesn't come entirely as a surprise. Hopefully we'll hear more about the update and a possible release date sometime soon.
