Rock Band Adds Crüe Fest Bands

More Crüe, System of a Down and others coming to download store.

Harmonix has announced that new songs by Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry, Sixx:A.M. and System of a Down will soon be added to the Rock Band music store. System of a Down is delivering "B.Y.O.B." and "Toxicity." Mötley Crüe, which earlier this year debuted "Saints of Los Angeles," will add "Face Down in the Dirt" to the store. Sixx:A.M. and Buckcherry will bring "Life is Beautiful" and "Rescue Me" respectively.

To coincide with the release on August 5 on Xbox 360 and August 7 on the PlayStation 3, there will be a 30-day discount on the songs by Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry and Sixx:A.M. Tracks usually go for 160 Microsoft Points or $1.99 but these will initially be available at the sale price of 80 Microsoft Points or $.99. The two System of a Down songs will release at the normal $1.99 price point. All five of the tracks are master recordings.
