Vivendi Taps Inwindow Outdoor to Launch Nationwide Storescapes Campaign Promoting Bourne Conspiracy

The storefront advertising specialist converts vacant retail space in five U.S. cities into stunning ads.

Inwindow Outdoor, the leader in storefront-based outdoor advertising, has launched a national campaign for Vivendi Games to promote the recently launched Bourne Conspiracy video game. The company has created multiple Storescapes across the country - full length advertising displays using the entirety of the building facade in vacant retail spaces - to promote the availability of the game and help Vivendi drive sales.

Inwindow Outdoor secured vacant retail space at eight locations in five major markets including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco Chicago and Miami and transformed the spaces into eye-catching advertisements with vibrant colors and imagery consistent with the theme of the Bourne movies. Selected displays also feature Bluetooth and WiFi delivery of clips from the game itself to mobile phones passing by the space.

"The client wanted to recreate the feel of the game by removing it from the game console and putting it on the streets where the action could be taking place," said Steve Birnhak, CEO and founder of Inwindow Outdoor. "Taking this concept of turning fiction into reality even a step further, the silhouettes of the characters are intentionally life-sized and placed at ground level where passers-by can insert themselves into the scene."

Inwindow Outdoor continues to expand its presence across the country and now operates advertising displays using vacant retail space in fourteen cities across the country. In creating the displays for Vivendi, Inwindow Outdoor partnered with OMG. The Bourne Conspiracy ads will run through the end of June.
