Saints Row 2 Delayed

According to a report on Reuters, THQ has announced plans to delay the release of Saints Row 2 into the fall. Formerly slated to ship in August, the game is now targeting an October 14 release. The move will allow THQ to further polish the game and put together a stronger marketing strategy prior to its release.

"Product quality is a huge driver of a game's success and this move allows us to polish the game. The game is done, it's about polish," Aniello told Reuters in an interview.

If anything, the delay should give you more time to nail down a 100% completion status in Grand Theft Auto IV before the next game like it releases.
