New COD4 Map Pack Takes Aim

It's not too late to fake sick and take the day off – the new Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare map pack is now available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace.

The Variety Map Pack includes four new multiplayer areas:

"Creek," a wide-open village ravaged by combat; "Broadcast," where you'll fight throughout an enemy communications building with confined corridors and broad parking lots; "Chinatown," a foggy downtown district lit only by a full moon and the neon glow of the city; and "Killhouse," featuring a desolate training warehouse filled with a variety of building mock-ups and soft and hard cover points.

The map pack is 800 Microsoft Points (US $10) and clocks in at 444.46 MB. Check out our hands-on preview of all four new maps here. The new maps will also be included as a free download with the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year Edition retail game, due out this month.
