Sierra Entertainment's Prototype to Feature Barry Pepper and Other Hollywood Talent

The upcoming action game will feature voice actors from film and television.

Sierra Entertainment announced today that Prototype, the company's upcoming open-world/action game, will feature the voice acting skills of notable Hollywood talent including Barry Pepper, Gordon Clap and Paul Guilfoyle among others. Already hotly tipped as a game to look out for in 2008 according to Electronic Gaming Monthly, GameSpy.com and other industry editorials, Prototype is well under way to be one of this year's hit titles for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Games for Windows.

Pepper (Flags of Our Fathers, The Green Mile, Saving Private Ryan) headlines the cast as he voices Prototype's main character Alex Mercer – a dark, genetically mutated shape-shifter hell-bent on solving the mystery of his existence as he tears through a densely populated New York City moving with Parkour-style fluidity consuming anything that gets in his way. With supporting voice work by Gordon Clap (NYPD Blue, Rules of Engagement) and Paul Guilfoyle (CSI, L.A. Confidential) this fitting cast is sure to enhance the game's uniquely mysterious and conspiracy-filled plot.

In development at Radical Entertainment, Prototype is currently rated "RP" (Rating Pending) by the ESRB. For more information on the game, be sure to visit the official website at www.prototypegame.com.
