Hot Coffee Settlement Detailed

Hope you have that ancient GameStop receipt handy.

We learned in November that Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive has settled a class-action lawsuit filed in response to the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Hot Coffee mod scandal in 2005.

Now, there's an official settlement web site available that details the deal. According to the site (via Gamasutra), GTA:SA owners are broken into five distinct classes, eligible for the following range of reimbursements for their mod-induced troubles:

Take-Two is prepared to spend at least $1.025 million in cash payments to consumers, and the settlement terms cap this amount at $2.75 million.
