Turok Demo Offer Expanded

A free demo for the Xbox 360 version of Turok is now available at Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart.com and GameCrazy.

In November, Touchstone and Propaganda Games released the demo exclusively at GameStop, but now the disc is available free to all who pre-order the game (with deposit) at any of the retailers listed above.

The demo includes about 30 minutes of gameplay and comes with a T-shirt.

We asked a spokesman for the game whether we can expect a version of the demo to make its way onto Xbox Live, but that's still up in the air, he said.

In the game, players take on the role of Joseph Turok, a former black ops commando who is now part of an elite special forces squad known as Whiskey Company. Turok is on a mission to take down a war criminal – Turok's former mentor, Roland Kane. Oh, and there are dinosaurs.
