Empire Earth III Announced

Sierra Entertainment, a division of Vivendi Games, announced that it'll be bringing the third installment of its popular Empire Earth series to PCs this fall. The game is expected to deliver the same epic-style progression and the series' classic "global approach to world domination." On top of that, Empire Earth III will introduce what's being called "free-form continuous Gameplay" in which players have the ability to keep the same units from one battle to the next.

"The Empire Earth series has been the recipient of much-deserved praise from the media and fans alike, making it a multi-million unit selling franchise for Sierra Entertainment," said Cindy Cook, chief strategy and marketing officer for Vivendi Games. "Empire Earth III will take the series to the next level with its ability to capture the entire scope of the globe and give it to the hands of the player."

Empire Earth III will be available on the PC in the fall of 2007, and is being developed by Mad Doc Software. For more information about the series, head on over to the official website.
