Splinter Cell Double Agent Official Release Date

The Splinter Cell Community Manager at the official Ubisoft forums has let loose with the release date for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent. According to this post, Sam Fisher will be embarking on his newest adventure on October 19. In the same post, we're told that a public beta test of the online mode for SCDA on the PC will not be held. This was done for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory before it was released. An Xbox 360 multiplayer demo is on the way, while PC gamers will be treated to both single-player and multiplayer demos. Sadly, no dates were given for when these demos will become available.
