Lady Croft Sets World Record

No, it's not because of her figure.

She didn't play "Danny Boy" on the harmonica for two weeks straight, and she didn't eat 30 hotdogs in under five minutes, but what Lara Croft has done is become the world's "Most Successful Human Videogame Heroine" according to the fine folks at Guinness World Records.

According to the eponymous record keepers, Lara Croft is a character who is "transcending the boundaries of videogames and becoming a recognizable figure in mainstream society." Not bad for someone who's really only 10 years old. Lara's newest adventure, Tomb Raider: Legend is due out next week.
