Stranglehold Grabs Gold

Today Midway announced the PlayStation 3 version of Stranglehold has gone gold and is set for its October 29 release date. A videogame sequel to John Woo's classic Hong Kong action film Hard Boiled, Stranglehold was developed by the team behind 2005's Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy.

Chow Yun-Fat has reprised his role as Inspector Tequila. He is a desperate man following his own rules: honor thy family; do what's right; fear no man. Stranglehold features much of the hyperkinetic, choreographed action and freeze frame sequences that John Woo is known for.
