FIFA 08 Gets Its Hits Out

In a feisty fandango of words, EA has revealed the full soundtrack for its forthcoming football franchise entry, FIFA 08, on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, PS2, PSP, DS, ColecoVision and kazoo.

This year, the song roster totals a whopping fifty tracks, trotting gleefully through the diverse and often terrifying tastes of countries across the globe. For our part, we've heard of approximately four of the songs on the list, but that says more about the fact we're still listening to the same cassette tape compilation of Bulgarian folk swing we found in a car boot sale fifteen years ago than it does anything else.

Artists, for those with a more prominent finger on the pulse of ROCK (TM), include CSS, Maximo Park (because, frankly, what game soundtrack would be complete without everyone's favourite screeching harpies of angst), !!!, Simian Mobile Disco, The Hoosiers, Travis and Robyn - whose 'Bum Like You' doesn't sound at all appropriate for a family audience.
