Stranglehold Ships for Xbox 360

Stranglehold, the John Woo shooter from Midway Games, has been released for the Xbox 360.

The game serves as a sequel to Woo's classic action film Hard Boiled, which stars Chow Yun-Fat as Inspector Tequila, a devoted cop drawn into a bitter battle with an underworld crime boss.

Stranglehold features dual-wielding, stunt-heavy action, destructible environments and online multiplayer capability. The PC version of the game is set for a Sept. 18 release on PC and a Sept. 25 release on PlayStation 3.

A collector's edition of Stranglehold for the PS3 will also include a full-length version of Hard Boiled.
