PS3 Gets Muddy With EU DiRT Demo

A three-event demo of Colin McRae: DiRT has skidded onto PlayStation Network today, giving wannabe rally drivers in Europe the chance to get behind wheel in a selection of racing modes ahead of the game's release on September 14.

The PS3 trial features a crossover race that pits you against the legendary McRae, hammering around Germany's Avelsbachring in a Subaru Impreza WRX spec C. Then it's off to the Bark River off-road raceway in Michigan to take on nine other V8 650hp buggies in a fierce C.O.R.R. competition.

Finally - and exclusively to the PlayStation 3 demo - there's the vineyards of Sardinia, which you can speed through in the Cuconi B rally stage.
