Medal of Honor Airborne Tournament Set

Electronic Arts plans to hold an online multiplayer tournament on Xbox Live in September to promote the launch of the WWII first-person shooter Medal of Honor Airborne.

Operation Live Jump begins Sept. 7 and lasts through the weekend. Xbox Live players can visit the tournament's official Web site to register from today until 11:59 P.M. EST on Sept. 9.

Activities include an Xbox Live leader board tournament, a 72-hour sweepstakes in which a winner is awarded a special prize each hour, and a multiplayer showdown where MoHA players can play against the game's developers.

Medal of Honor Airborne will be released Sept. 4 for the Xbox 360 and PC and in November for the PlayStation 3.
