GC 2007: Buzz Quizzes PS3

Fingers on buzzers... which hugely popular quiz game series is set to make the jump into PlayStation 3 with 1,000s of new questions and an online mode that allows players to create their own sets of teasers, then share them with quiz fans across the globe?

It's Buzz! of course and during its Game Convention press conference Sony unveiled the first PS3 version - called Buzz! Quiz TV. Once again it stars the titular Buzz and a range of quirky characters who must answer brain benders in a range of rounds, from pass the bomb to pie fight.

However, the most important aspect of this latest Buzz! is that it comes complete with a raft of online features, including a 'sofa vs sofa' mode that enables you to compete against players across the globe, downloadable question packs and the chance to make your own questions then submit them to other users as part of the My Buzz! community scheme.

Unfortunately Sony didn't announce a release date for Buzz! Quiz TV but we'll keep you posted when we hear more.
