Pok¿mon Diamond & Pearl Dated for EU

Nintendo of Europe has announced that Pok¿mon Diamond and Pearl are heading over to Blighty on July 27, having already conquering Japan and America.

Diamond and Pearl are the first true Pok¿mon adventures on DS and feature a slew of new monsters, features and improved 3D graphics. It's also the first handheld iteration of Pok¿mon to go online, so you can battle and trade critters with pals anywhere in the world.

In addition, UK Pok¿-fans who preorder either game at any GAME store get a special Dialga or Palkia stylus, which might be worth something on eBay one day.

Pok¿mon Diamond and Pearl were released in America earlier this month and sold a staggering 1.75 million copies in just 14 days, according to independent sales data gathered by the NPD Group. Meanwhile in Japan, five million copies have been sold since the games launched in September 2006. Will Europe be next to bow down to Pikachu's power?
