Transformers: The Game Voice Talent Revealed

From old school to new.

Activision today announced the voice talent that's been signed for its upcoming Transformers: The Game, and it's set to please both old school "G1" fans (which apparently stands for Generation One) and those who are new to a world that's more than meets the eye. For the old guard, voice actors Peter Cullen and Frank Welker, the original voices of Optimus Prime and Megatron, will be reprising their roles, while Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox from the upcoming live-action film will also be recording dialogue for the game.

"Transformers is an incredible franchise with huge global appeal and our goal is to present a game that speaks to fans of the upcoming movie as well as to G1 fans," Laird Malamed, head of production at Activision commented. "We have a fantastic line-up that includes original talent from the animated TV series and the upcoming film, bringing together the best of both worlds."
