Gears of War Continues Churning Out Maps

The Hidden Fronts multiplayer pack has been discovered.

Hot on the heels of last month's Annex downloadable content, Microsoft has announced that even more multiplayer goodness is on the way for Gears of War. On Thursday, May 3, the Hidden Fronts map pack will be available to download over Xbox Live. The pack includes four new multiplayer maps and will initially set you back 800 Microsoft Points, although all four maps will be available for free beginning September 3.

The four new areas included in Hidden Fronts are:

Bullet Marsh: A Kryll-infested swamp, dimly lit in spots by an old generator. Players will be able to take out the generator, leaving their opponents to fend off the Kryll in the dark.

Garden: An abandoned conservatory overgrown with plant life. The facility still has a working pesticide system which could prove hazardous to anyone who might be trapped in the greenhouse.

Process: A still-active, subterranean Imulsion processing plant.

Subway: Timgad's Central Subway station, crawling with Locust.

Hit up the gallery for screens of each new area, and dive into the Hidden Fronts map pack this Thursday morning.
