New Phoenix Wright Sells Big

Fourth entry earns highest sales figures for series.

The DS is part of yet another record over in Japan. Mainichi Interactive reports today that Gyakuten Saiban 4, the latest Japanese entry in the series known internationally as Phoenix Wright, took the top spot in its first week of sales last week with around 250,000 units sold. Not including budget versions and re-releases, this figure makes Gyakuten Saiban 4 the highest selling game in series history.

Here's how the Capcom series has sold so far, based on data from a recent issue of Nintendo Dream:
