Halo 2 Forever!

New maps now available.

In one month, on May 16, thousands of lucky gamers will experience the Halo 3 multiplayer beta. But how can any Halo devotee hope to survive the long wait for the most anticipated beta in console history? By playing Halo 2, of course! The Halo 2 Blastacular Map Pack is now available extending the life of Master Chief's second foray onto consoles. In such notable moments in history, it's okay for a grown man to cry.

The new pack, which work on Xbox and Xbox 360, runs $4 and includes two maps: Tombstone and Desolation. Please note that you cannot purchase the map pack with Microsoft Points. Original Xbox games don't recognize "points" even on a 360. You will need to have a valid credit card on file with your Xbox Live account in order to snag the new maps.

Tombstone and Desolation will be added to the Halo 2 multiplayer play list shortly, but can still be enjoyed in unranked matches for the time being.
