Calling all STALKERs

STALKER is finally here. Following an unbearably long wait, PC gamers can finally play GSC Game World's first-person shooter as STALKER shipped to stores today.

Available exclusively for PC and retailing for $39.99, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl offers a completely open world to explore. Just beware of the rabid dogs, freakish mutations and IGN editors that were spawned in the exclusion zone surrounding Chernobyl.

STALKER or Scavengers, Trespassers, Adventurers, Loners, Killers, Explorers, and Robbers earned an 8.2 from IGN and considerable praise from IGN's own Charles Onyett. IGN's resident Canadian editor called STALKER "a brave game" that offered gamers "a chance to experience something genuinely new."

Look for STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl in stores tomorrow.
